Meet Michael Radi, the Composer/Lyricist/Librettist of The King's Legacy.
Michael Radi is a composer, lyricist, librettist, performer, vocal coach, and musical director currently residing in New York City. Since graduating from SUNY Geneseo with a BA in Theatre/English with Honors, Michael has been working steadily in one, or all, of these fields both in NY and across the country. He recently completed the BMI Musical Theatre Writing Workshop as a lyricist and maintains collaborations he formed within the program.
Michael has written three full musical theatre pieces, including his original musical The King’s Legacy. Michael continues to collaborate on other projects as well, including a musical adaptation of The Legend Of Sleepy Hollow and a family-oriented musical comedy set in world of competitive baton twirling. In addition to the writing, Michael has enjoyed performing at every possible opportunity, and continues to audition regularly.
Michael is in his ninth year as a vocal instructor, accompanist, and musical director at From Stage To Screen studio in Huntington, NY on Long Island, where he teaches thirty private voice students. In addition, Michael coaches professionally in the city and has musical directed at several other educational institutions.
